Shakespeare Quiz – “Can one desire too much of a good thing?”

Quizzing Fun at the Barn

“This is the short and the long of it” – we all enjoyed ourselves despite the picture round eliciting comments like, “I cannot tell what the dickens his name is,” and the casual way in which extracts from Midsummer Night’s Dream had been so severely abridged as to be almost unrecognisable.  Despite this as you will see from the photos, the ‘acting’ round proved a hit with some excellent performances by all but particularly our youth team – the Shakespeareans.  Final scores were pretty close but in the end the team, ‘Twas ever thus’ proved to be our victorious winners of various ‘Ye Olde’ prizes.
